Does anyone know what the fuzzy, fluffy stuff waving in the current on the edges of my rocks might be. It is only in the shaded areas of my rock.

I had this exact same thing and it just sort of went away on it's own with regular maintenance and water changes. Never was able to find exactly what it was, but it definitely looks the same. It never really took over or moved to new area after I spotted it.

Yep, I had it too about 6 months into my tank running. I used BRS Eco Saver rock and that stuff covered every rock surface. It eventually faded away and I figured it was just a part of the rocks maturing.

I have those too I think they are dinoflagellates

It looks more like a bacterial mat to me. Like mentioned above though it should go away in time with the proper husbandry.

Definitely not dinoflagellates. I've had that before in another tank. Dino's look like long brown strings of snot with air bubbles attached.

I had something similar and maintains a good water change schedule got it in check.
