ID please

I have been in the hobby for a little under a year and have only seen one of these. The person who has that one does not know what it is either. I saw one at the lfs on a piece of lr and had to have it. In the store it was about 1 inch after in my tank for a day it has expanded to over 3.5 inches. I have searched but don’t really know what to search for. Any help would be appreciated

Is it a mushroom or a racordia?

Rhodactis mushroom. Some varieties can get HUGE (I had a few pushing 12" across). Very easy to care for

Thanks, I have never seen them with little hammer tentacles sticking out, I have seen the ones with straight tentacles but not the hammer ones.

I have two of those and one is about 7" across. Very easy to take care of. Just keep it in fairly low flow. My false perc hosts in it.

Its a mushroom, my reason why as to why it is so large in your tank is because you have less lighting compared to the LFS and so it is streaching to try to absorb more lighting.

I got it about 1 hour after the fish store got the LR in. So it was shriveled up. I have 720 watts of light and grow acros, sps fine in my tank (even on the bottom.). I don’t think it I s the lights But may be wrong.
