Anemone?? Good, bad, or just a pest? Two of them came in on a new coral I just purchased and its in QT right now. They seem to stay closed during lighting and open with feeding at night. Soft bodied.

Open tenticles at night with ArticPod feeding. Decent flow in the tank so the tenticles are curled with the flow.

Since the tentacles will probably irritate the red coral, I would try to break up the rock and kept the anemones separate.

Both species are nice.

Thanks for the answers. I would still like to know if anyone is aware as to if they are a pest species or not.

A few more pics with the tenticles fully extended in the early morning. They do seem to be light sensitive, as they retracted some after I put a flashlight on them for photos. And yes, I see the normal aptasia :mad:
