I got this tang from a guy breaking down his tank. It is about 1-1.5"s in length. I have looked everywhere for some kind of ID on it, yet I can not find anything certain. I think it is a Bariene, but who knows. The guy bought it as an Orange Shoulder, which it is clearly not. Here is a photo of it.

It's defintely not a Kole, They are yellow in color at that size and age, then turn to their brownish color.

That pic is thatfishplace.com's old pic of their Bariene tang. If you enter "Acanthurus bariene" into google images, it's the first one in the second row.

It is infact a Bariene, not sure what the question/misunderstanding is...

Thats where I got the pic, it matches my fish 100%. But if you notice none of the other pics look anything like it. And sorry the Question was in the title, I was looking for a 100% ID on it. I hope it is a Bariene but not might be. I was told it was an Atlantic DR fish, but I have never seen one like this in 16 years of diving the atlantic and Caribbean.

Well it turns out after all to be a Bariene tang, He is now around 4"s and there are plenty of markings starting to show up. Not bad for a free fish.
