its a sweet piece no matter what it is. the growth pattern is like nothing i've really seen before, very unique piece. can i get some?

Gotfish8, if you decide to frag that, I'd like to buy a piece from you. Just let me know the price. I had a frag of echinata at one time. In 2004 I lost all my SPS overnight to a bad case of brown jelly. Thankfully, that's gone and the tank has been stable for many years now.

imo it's not echinata at all. the coralites are much too rounded and the texture isnt the same.

i'd guess suharsonoi as well...but imo that's not it either....perhaps turaki in higher nutrients hence the dense tissue.
