ID this clown plz

A friend of mine just came from the pet store with this clown and is giving it to me. The store didn't even know it was a clown and they sold it for $39. His color is really bright and has a single black dot. Here are some pics i took. Quality is not so great.

Is this clown hard to find? I been in the hobby for about 2 + years and i have never seen one before. I'm going to set up a tank and eventually get a partner for it.

They are not what you would call a common species.
You should know however it's probably considered the most aggressive clown species out there.

It seems to go in streaks. You won't see any for a long time and then all of a sudden you see them everywhere you go.

I used to work at a LFS, and you will see them from time to time. Not expecially difficult to come across. If you really want them you may have to talk about special ordering them because, IME, they generally are not great sellers so store aren't just dying to get them in their tanks.
