ID this 'Halloween' hermit?

I bought this guy from a place that's had a few of them come through. The guy called them Halloween hermits, possibly with a country name in front of that. I can't remember what country name it was, I was too busy being interested in their new arrivals.
The guy who runs the saltwater department says they're very docile, and thus far it's lived up to that. Its shell is about the size of a quarter, maybe a tad smaller, and it's rather fast and active. He says it gets to be about an inch or so, though I'm not sure if he meant across or long or what. He was busy unloading about ten boxes of new stuff.
The little guy is a tad more purple in those spots than it looks, and the orange has a gold tint under good lighting. I couldn't get a better picture, he wouldn't stay still for me.
Is he a different kind of Halloween hermit?

Calcinus cf elegans, the electric orange hermit crab. It's like calcinus elegans, but orange instead of blue. They are from different areas, but are essentially the same except for the color. Ciliopagurus strigatus is what is known as a halloween hermit.

Gets a tad larger than I expected, but that's okay... It seems to be a peaceful species.
