Id this please!!!!

After seeing this i found one in a crack of a rock with mushrooms on it ...is it possible to just pull it out? or will it continue to grow?

Or you can leave it outside for a few weeks and let everything dry off and die. Or both. Somewhere around here I have the nuke the site from orbit pic, but I'm too lazy to find it :)

Find it, I like that pic.... the only other pic I love is the fat shirtless guy on the bus bumping the chick with his belly... its funny!

I went to a LFS and the guy working says that they arent a huge deal.

He is SEVERELY misinformed. I have heard of them taking down an entire established tank by taking over and killing off all the corals. Do not listen to whoever told you thy aren't a big deal, and get them out now!!! You won't regret it.

Ya! lol I took them out right as you guys told me to take it out! i just saw that they had it and thought to ask more questions. I like to ask questions

Glad they are out! The multiply like rabbits! You have 3 now but with the right light/water condition you will have 10-15 in a month or so!

Wow, many different methods were discussed here. When I started my first tank I had a bunch of aptasia and majanos. I hit them all with Joe's juice, and bought a few peppermint shrimp. Problem solved.

yeah, they are cool at first but after they get established they spread rapidly. Either inject them with a concentrated kalkwasser solution or vinegar. Both of those methods kill them pretty quickly and dont require long lengths of time or anything that would affect the rest of the life on the rock.

I injected 3 yesterday with vinegar and there is no sign of them today. They were severly shriveld within a couple of min.
