ID this tiny snail like creature

ok these things are really tiny. so sorry for the blurry pic. they are really small!
id say max size of 2mm diameter. they kind of look like tiny snails. they are all very white in color - a bleached appearance.
they also dont move around. but they have what looks like a little head maybe sticking out of their white 'shells'
(i do have 3 turbo snails in the tank)

theyre all over the glass, and starting to grow on the live rock a little. are they a problem? what are they?

From your description I would guess that they are tiny feather dusters. I have hundreds of them in my tank. Never seen them actually do anything....
 
no need the are feather dusters (beneficial critters) they only hurt your view into your tank by growing on the glass, the max size i ever seen them are about the size of a grain of rice, maybe smaller. I have had them in my overflow and return pipes. I say keep them.
 
dont feather dusters get giant? or is this a different specie?
i do have a threadfin butterfly in the tank, which likes to pick at feather dusters.. perhaps they will get 'picked on' :)
