Very nice purple polyp Acro. Under very high light 700+ PAR) it is almost white hint of green with purple polyp. Normal mid to high light, 500 PAR, it is green with light/white green tip and very purple well extended polyps. The color of the polyps and the degree of extension really add a lot he colors of this coral.

Maybe A. nasuta but without a clear view of the corallite its impossible to be confident

Thanks.
I got this as a nondescript brown frag and got it to this color. I am selling frags of this coral. If there is a name to it I certainly can give buyer a clearer idea of the coloration under various conditions.
It is not that I am not interested in the scientific name of the species, it just that I need a more practical way to ID this for buyers. I cannot believe that such a beautiful coral was not named by somebody.
If I cannot come up with a name it is know for, I may give it a name. Certainly the beauty of this coral deserve it.

I think I just saw a pic of this 1 and it is called WWC Blueberry

I think you got it for me. Thanks.

Unless it was purchased directly from WWC as that particular variety, or there it known lineage, it shouldn't be identified as such.

Like posted above Acropora Nasuta is a good guess but there are other similar species it could be as well.
