Ok, here I go on my first RK tread.
I collected this specimen three month ago, diving near home. It was placed very closed to the surface and the colony extended for several meters.
Well, I grabbed a small “finger†and placed middle high in my reef. The funny thing is that I’ve noticed that living inside the structure there were some sort of clams and I assumed that it was pretty much it. Some sort of mussel colony.
As time went by, I’ve notice that it started to beach. I taught that was the new lightning, but as soon I started to feed some cyclopeez at night it regained it color back and now I spends the whole day with their polyps extended.
It is a fun specimen, the mussel moves up and down time to time and some time you can see some sort of fan swapping the water.
If somebody could identify it….
