ID tiny anemone

This little anemone was on a rock with green clove polyps that I purchased from the lfs. One detached from the rock when I got it home so I have one in my tank and my boyfriend has the other in his tank. In five days his split.

They are fuzzy, have a bit of green little ball shaped things (tentacles?) between the fuzz and they're about the size of a dime. They are extremely sticky.

Let me try to post the pic again.

Hmm. Look up Heterodactyla Hemprichii and Lebrunia Danae. I don't know much about either species, but it looks similar. Whatever it is, LMK if you're taking buyers when you have too many. Very cool! :)

P.S. If you can get a better pic that would be awesome.

I looked up the last one and it's identical to one of the pics I saw. I also read that it's a pest so I'm not so happy about it now : (

That sucks. I'm a freak for anemones so I'd take one of those in a heartbeat, but yes, it does appear they can be a problem.

The best way to get rid of them is to kill them. There are several methods that work well, from injecting them with boiling hot water or covering them with kalk paste, all the way to professional treatments like Aiptasia-X. Anything that will kill aiptasia should work well on these too.

It was touching both mushrooms in the pic and my Starry Blenny was lying on it. None seemed to get stung. I am going to keep my eye on it though and see how quickly it reproduces.
