ok.. have some deep water aussie. they are doing great. yesterday my alk went from 9.87 to like 10.75

would that casue the randon spotty lose of tisse as you can see in the photo? referring to the white spots about half an inch from the edge of the coral around 12 oclock and 3 oclock.

i have some crabs in the sps but believe they are the good guys.. crabs have been around for weeks with no issues.. they are not fuzzy.

thoughts.. alk spike. parameters are 1.024 on salinity.

nitrate zero

thanks

Hi, I have..it looks like the Same acro. I have had this acro for 8 years! It resembles yours. Several time as I have had to frag it...I have several mini colonies due to fragging. It's very strange that this coral has stn just like yours in the same areas. No critters no nothing! It has 100% recovered...holding my breath here..Lol so far ok!
I placed very low in the tank with med flow. My parameters: Ca 450-Alk 6.5 to 8-Mg 1350...I dose lugols once a month and use Seachem Reef Plus once every 2 weeks. Good luck! It's beautiful piece!
