ID: What are these..... eggs??

I woke up this morning and found about 20 of these egg looking things on my glass. They are very flat and kind of resemble fried eggs with very large yolks.

They have not moved in 5 hours.

Hi,

I had what appear to be the same eggs - they were ID'ed by Dr. Ron Shimek as Nerite egg capsules. Here is a picture of mine from this past September.

They were everywhere for about a week even on my turbo snail's shell. Eventually many of them hatched though I never saw the babies.

I was going to say Nerite eggs as well. I introduced some Nerites into my tank a few weeks ago and they've been busy decorating the rock and other snails with eggs.

I actually got nerites last friday and talked to the guy I got them from he confirmed it, you guys are right, thanks a lot!

(sounding redundant here) definitely Nerite eggs. They will constantly be on your glass. Our Mandarin loves to eat them, right off the glass.
