ID White and Grey Starfish?

So this guy recently made his way out from within my live rock and I cannot tell or find any info on what it may be. I have historically had a few Asterina starfish, but those are about the size of a penny. Stretched out, this guy is between quarter or half dollar size. He has active tube feet for moving (super slow).

It has 4 legs only and crawled out of my rocks. Have not recently added anything to the tank. Any ideas?

I looked up sea cushions and everything else four-legged, but nothing seemed to match. I'm going to guess either some sort of mutant or it will eventually grow another appendage.

That’s where I was headed. Almost has the coloration of a sand sifting star

Fun update. It split in half and half receded back into the rocks and the other half is climbing the glass.

How cool. Hopefully you won't get a tank full of those things and that it's not the kind that devours things you want to keep.
