That is definately an anemone. Need a better picture but it's looking like a Mojano which is considered a pest.

wow, that is cool, especially the base

what size is it ?

the tentacles do resemble majano tentacles and the fact that there are two of them also could be a good indication of pest status.

were there two to start with, or did that one split?

[the reason I always question iffy majano/aiptasia calls is because I have seen the big anemones come in as hitchers and it would seem a waste to ice a rare or desireable anemone going on less than well informed info just because a) it wasn't obviously a standard aiptasia and b) it was small.

So if I ever have the slightest question, I'll beat on it until there's positive resolution. Besides the fact that I want to know exactly what it is too :D]

It's pretty cool looking. Hopefully not a pest. I would post the picture in the clownfish/anemone forum.

they were originally 1 and they were both about 2" tall....me and my brother posted a pic on a site som1 recomended to us and the guy told us it was bad he said it wasnt a majano anemone but he said to get rid of them so we did.... it sucked cause ive had them since the beginning but u do wat u gotta do

definitly majano if u started with 1 and soon after had 2 but iv heard of people have up to 12 of them without any problems so i guess its all whether or not you want to take the risk
