Hi all, I recently bought a 110g drilled reef ready tank
It came with a pretty cool Aquatic Life HID T5 LED ballast, a hang-on-back eshopps psk-100h skimmer, a wavemaker, uv sterilizer, live rock, sand, sump, etc.
I'm told the sump is an eshopps sump as well, but it's missing the seperators (basically just a one chamber sump now)
Anyways, my question is: How should I set up this sump? I've tried searching this forum for advice but it seems all of the sump designs are with an in-sump-skimmer in mind. The previous owner said he had his return pump in a tupperware (to keep out sand, chaeto, etc), and basically just had a DSB and a bunch of live rock rubble in the rest of the bottom of the sump. The return from the tank went into a filter sock.
I'll enclose pics of the main tank, then the left and right side of the sump
Any advice from someone who has a hang on the back skimmer and a sump with a refugium and how they set it up would be appreciated
Regards
