These fish have caused some differance of opinion in their Identification, The belong to me and have done for over a year.
They are in their newish setup (new to them). I believe 100 percent they are A. percula one or two others have said A. ocellaris.
There are several points to consider here.

The shape of the body and head.
The height of the dorsal fin.
the eye color ( note the first pic does not show true eye colour the last three do).
Also note that all A.percula do not have have heavy black outlines to white bars to be percula so this should not be taken into account.
The first pic is 6 months or so old the second, third and fourth are from today.

If you want to convince anyone they are percs, don't ever show that first pic again. :)

I agree that they are percs and not ocellaris.

I also agree(something you said in another post) that it seems that percs in H. magnifica tend to have minimal black markings while the percs from S. gigantea seem to have what most would consider traditional perc markings all the way up to onyx.

FWIW: I have seen many mature (breeding size) A. percula with even less black than your's.

first pic, from the eye test, does look ocellaris, but the 2nd & 3rd pic looks like percs.

IMO only the out of focus eye on the clown in the front of the pic looks like Occelaris the clown in the background looks very perc like.

Thanks guys, ok poor quality first pic, so are they now worthy of the percula thread???
:D
Phender thanks what do you think of the mag? It is what the tank was origonally designed for and now complete.
It is pretty small, (not nessesary a good sign) but so were the others in the dealers tank so I am hoping that it is the smaller cloning type most often seen here.
It is extremely sticky and sensitive to the touch, and eats small pieces of shrimp (very small) in about 30 seconds to a minute. It has not moved since I got it.
lighting is a 400watt 14k mh with a pc 50/50 tube.
flow is the covered seio, and a wavysea on a 5000lph return pump.

Are those pics with flash, because I can make ocellaris dark eye rings turn orange with a camera flash...while I am unsure how to create a dark eye ring on a perc.

I mean, those look like percs to me based on the eye, but just for everyone's info, pics without flash are best.

seriously though they were all taken with a flash you will just have to take my word the the eye rings are orange, not that that is the only factor at play of course.............. Oh shoot ok here is a pic of the female with no flash.

What's folks' thoughts on the dorsal fin height in these guys?

I was Ocells all the way with the first picture, but then the others wander to Percs.

This case is particularly interesting to me at the moment...

The Magnifica looks great. The lighting and the tank is just about perfect for Magnifica. Feed him well, frequent water change and you may have two in several month. They grow really fast when situation is just right. Mine which divided from 1 to 4 (three times, not 1 split to 4) divided when he just under 16 inches or so fully expanded

I fooled a lot of people when I posted this pic a couple years ago.

Neither of the percs in this pair have the bright orange iris that you expect to see in percs. This pic does make it look darker than it actually is. I don't know why.

Full pic.

adtravels, I like your Mag very much. The pastel colors are nice. Mine started small as well and is growing at a nice slow but consistant rate.
I have a lot of alternating current but not as much light as you. Mine is about 1/2" below the water's surface directly under a 10K 150 watt DE MH, that is 8" above the water.

Man that one is tough but for some reason I'm leaning to percula as well......I think it is the way the 3rd strip is developing.......one question, how long are these fish? if they are on the smaller side that would make me feel better about saying perc.........if they are over 3 inches it would make me wonder............another question is are they possibly a hybrid between percula and ocellaris? I have done a few searches and never came up with a picture of percularis hybrid (atleast a normal striped one)........maybe someone can post a picture of a hybrid?

I have a pair that would fool the best of us as well, I only know it's a perc. pair because it came out of percs. :)
