Taking exact measurements of its LxHxW would help.

i take it that the sticker on the back of the pump is missing? i dont think the measurements are going to help identify it because mag drive 2-7 have the same measurements with the same 1/2" output. with those measurements it could be a 2, 3, 5, or 7. i could be wrong.

The dude above is correct. It is a 2,3,5, or 7... If you're totally stuck, depending on how much water you're looking to move, I'd probably shop around and look to buy a new impeller in either the 2,3,5, or 7. The motor block is the same... I once had to replace the impeller on my mag-12. I picked it up for $9.

take the impellor out and take it to a lfs and see if they can match it up
That is not a bad idea but our lfs's do not stock many replacement parts like impellers.

Soulja - I would call around before you go to any of the lfs's. I know that Ocean's Floor (they actually may have a worth if they have them) stocks mag pumps. The only other lfs that I can think of that might also stock them is AT.
