Ive done some googling and been trying to find out exactly what are these hard white things covering my overflow and live rock? Im somewhat new and just curious! Thanks in advance.

They are Spirorbid worms - little tube worm type worms. Look at them with a magnifying glass and you will see their little feather like appendages that are filtering food from the water column. They are harmless.
