Identify this nem?

I recently got. Piece of rubble rock from petco (don't judge me haha) I saw this little guy on it and thought it might be an RBTA considering everything they have is generally stressed it ought it could be a baby.... I brought it home to see if I could keep it alive... Did some research and I'm seeing it could be a majano nem. Any ideas? When it was in the store tank it looked more majano.. But home it stays all bubbly and snuggled into a crevice more like an RBTA..

i got some manjo and it doesnt really look like it, id say its a rbta as well

As far as I know bubbles tips ar the only anemone that has the bubble type tentacles. So nice pic up.

sorry but no.
cribrinopsis crassa got those bubbles as well, i would add a picutre but mine is in the back of my tank so its impossible.

Manjo's also have the bubble tips

I didn't know that. Thanks for the correction. I still believe its a bta but appreciate the info none the less.

keep an eye on him, if he multiply quickly, it is best to kill him. While he maybe a baby BTA, I think this is unlikely. Most likely he is a Majano pest anemone. They look like perfect tiny BTA. Your anemone is still a little stressed. Here is a picture of a Majano I found on the web:

So I wanted to update with another pic... I think it's an RBTA... When lights out it stretches out no bubbles and looks like my old bta did.. When the lights on its growing and has some bubbles some not.. I'm still watching for splitting but so far nothing

Does not look like a bta to me still, should have white lines comming from the mouth which im not seeing

i do agree its a majano - not many good stuff come out of petco
