identifying a ritteri vs. LTA

how do i accurately identify a ritteri vs. LTA? both can have purple bases, but what about verrucae? here are some pics:

Its a bleached magnifica.

Give it some tlc and light and it will do good.

How old is your tank.

Also i wouldnt put this in the tank with the gigantea you got they wage warefare since they are very stressed.
 
tank is about 1.5 years old, but was transferred from a tank that was ~2 years old.

hmm didnt think about the warfare. thanks for the heads up reefvette. what signals to you that its definitely a ritteri?
 
Its attached to a rock, the purple color you see there is never seen in a LTA.

The Tentacles and the mouth as well, you can also see faint spots on the top of the base.
 
i actually placed the rock in the breeder box. it didn't come attached. also looking at the tentacles, they're more cone shaped and theres almost no tentacles near the mouth. theyre all near the edge of the disc. isn't that more LTA like?

edit: just removed it from the box and placed it up high in my tank with flow. hope it attaches...
