i bought this one from a LFS, it is all white with some greenish look, have no idea which kind it can be!!! help needed!
other thing about it, it never opens when the light are on! i have a 200 l system with 6 t5 bulb [5 10K and one actinic] and no fish is disturbing it..
the intresting thing is when i turn the light on at night she is fully extended and then she is getting smaller and smaller few minutes after...

Sorry, it looks like a horribly bleached BTA. Once it's settled in, I'd suggest you feed it small pieces of meaty food (shrimp/krill/silversides) every two to three days and hope it recovers.

How long have you had it?

How did you acclimate it?

I agree that it is a very bleached BTA and without proper care it will not make it.

this is really wierd because yes, this was the only white anemone in a tank full of GBTA but the seller told me that they got another species also and this was the only one that have left, it is also imported to say that all the GBTA that was at the tank didnt look that good and it this little white anemone was open and nicly looked..
i have it for almost two weeks...
i acllimated it in a small bucket for a half an hour... every 5 minute dosing 50 ml from my tamk to he bucket
i tried to give it now a small piece of salmon, it took it and i hope that she will actually eat it...
any other helpfull tips?

but the seller told me that they got another species also and this was the only one that have left

Personally, I would tend to disbelieve anything this seller told me in the future.

the wierd thing is that this store is the biggest store in our country, i drove like three hour there because everything i heard about this store is nothing but good commets...
i sent this photo to the seller and im waiting for his comment...

That nem is severely bleached, I'm surprised it has lasted 2 weeks, but maybe that is a good sign.
For nursing bleached nems back to health I prefer small meaty food like mysis.

+1 for bleached out BTA. How long do you run your lights for? You may want to decrease the light cycles and slowly build them back up when its healthier. Five 10k bulbs is a lot of white light, what color it does have may be getting washed out. I have a 6 bulb t5ho fixture over my GBTA. I run 2x blue+ bulbs from 10a-10p, from 12-7p my other four lights are on (2 blue+, 2 aquablue specials).

i usually run the light from 11 am till 8 pm, in addition for what you said, i want to decrease it in order to remove annoying from algea that i have for like a month.
i will hopefully get this or next week another actinic bulb...

after few hours from feeding the nem. i see the she "puked" it.. i puted it back inside her mouth and pray for good...

If it spits it out, don't forcefeed it. You're new and this was just a bad LFS experience. NO reputable LFS would sell someone a nem this bad off and say it was fine.

As a general rule for new tanks, you're not supposed to add an anemone until you reach a six month mark so the water quality is pretty stable.

Yeah, the reason I asked is you said you're having algae issues, that rock looks pretty fresh, and looks like maybe some diatoms on it.
Really should have a mature stable tank for nems.

I understant what you saying, buyt this tank is actually upgrade from my previous 20 galon. Tank that worked for almost two years, i just added more rockes and changes the sand bed
I woke up this morning and saw that shw hasnt swallowed it,hope to get her comment today!
Do you have another tips dor her??
Thabk you guys!!

unfirtunately, the nem started released her self from being connected to the rock and started to crumble.. i throw her...
ill try with another nem in 2 months, hope to succeed then...
thank you so much for your help!
