Well it has been about 6 months since the "revival" of my 300G self built tank from the failed attempt of 3 years ago. Water changes are easier since I ran a water line, as well as auto top off. My calcium and Alk balance is much more stable since I switched to B-Ionic. My self made skimmer is propably 10x bigger and more efficient at 5' high, 8" inner diameter, and an added becket injector to the downdraft. I am also no longer electricuting myself since I had the electrician come in to run all the lighting, heating and pump circuits. Here are some updated pics. Enjoy.

Thanks to Guy for holding this Rose BTA until hell froze over, OK at least until I threatened the Electrician with a lawsuit for not finishing the lights for 5 months. THANKS GUY! this RBTA is green under atinics with pink arms and purple tips, awesome. And thanks for the heteroxenia.

I'm impressed with the custom tank! It looks realy good man. That sun coral looks happy too. How's the carnation holding up? And to think I'm a little worried about how the heck I'm going to build a hood:lol: Give me a french knife I can work miracles- but give me a hammer and usually my thumb just ends up swollen:rollface:

Gary -- thanks, yes we have the best society in the country. I don't have any cardinals, I like the Bangaii, I was waiting for Guy to breed some more.

Drbronx -- The anthelia and both species of xenia are awesome. The Nepthia is absolutely unbelievable. Total NEON. I took a picture of it, but it did not do it justice, so I didn't post it, but I wanted everyone to see it, it's awesome. I also found a nickle sized chip of Pavona in the Grunge you gave me that is already a quarter size now. I'll be back down since I saw your new thread. Thanks

Sorry Gary, you are correct, that is a "glass" cardinal fish, I often forget about him, my son who is 7 picked him out, he is pretty much see through, but he thinks it looks like a "shark" lol.

Thanks Jamie, give me a ring when you get back, my mandarins would love more pods, although they are both still fat and happy they have the occasional tisk, but are getting used to one another. The extra pods/live sand will help. Thanks
