If using RODI do I need stresscoat?

If I'm using an RO/DI unit do I need to use stresscoat still for a
fish only with live rock tank? Thanks db.

I wouldn't use the stress coat products. They can cause problems with the skimmer, and I'm not sure they'd really be useful in any case.

What are you trying to do?

If you're using RO/DI water then you just add that to your tank.

Are your fish stressed w/ ick?

Its a brand new ruined tank. Added a bunch of LR to a tank that ran 2 - 2 1/2 weeks with tap water and salt and everything went off the charts needless to say.............. ummmm got an ro/di unit running now trying to change out the water as fast as i can. 50% today. on a 180gal. need to cycle again i guess.

dont worry about adding anything to the RO water. anything that is needed will be added with the salt!
