Both the fish were $2499.

Size on these fish does not matter since there are so few to begin with. All the clarions that came out of Mexico were the same price regardless of size.

The price has come down, but you will still be paying about double the price of a conspic for a clarion...

completely true, on the wholesale, retail thing. Now going a bit off topic does anyone know how many clarions came in? i remember last year old town aquarium had a tough time getting one sold, started at 2500 then sat there for months. I did at one point see it on special for 1500 but dont know if anyone got it. I need to stop in there as im sure they will have at least one from this batch.

IMO the adults are just as pretty as the Juveniles, albeit different.
