IKS simmod + TUNZE stream?

TOTM January 2006
Have anybody try IKS with simmod and the serie TUNZE streampumps.
Is the possible to use the IKS to control the pumps with simmod? If possible, why??

I know it can do off and on but I don't think speed control is a possibility. blgreef would know if anybody does.

Well I have not had a chance to play with it yet but you can but not directly.

SO DO NOT JUST CONNECT THE SIMMOD TO A STREAM I would think this is not covered by warranty if you fry the stream controler!!

The simmod generates a 0 to 10 v ouput 10V is too high for a stream,

I willl pm you

Hi.
I send the same question to IKS and here is the answear:

Dear Morten Nordby,

yes it is possible to control the Tunze with our Simmod.

You just need the 5 pin DIN-plug, a small diode to limit the voltage and a cable.

If you have any further questions, please contact me again

They also send me a cable for a lot of money, very good service.

I test it now with waves simulation and it's no problem to use speed control. My pumps go on 100/70% at day and 60/30 % night. No problem.

it is no problem to controller the variable streams with the iks power bar. you dont need the Simmod.
all you need is the variable bar and do not set the computer any lower than 40% power otherwise the stream will make a loud sound.
