Looks like under the right lighting (High) it may form some really nice colors... I can see some colors developing at the polyp edges... that has really good potential... also that skeletal recession there.. if its just from rubbing a bag during shipping then do a 5 min Lugols dip just to be safe and if it is a slow recession then I would frag that area off to prevent it from receeding further

Thanks! I just got it from the LFS a couple days ago. It fell into another coral and got stung pretty bad at the store. I got a good deal on it so I took the chance. It looks like it is recovering very well. I feed it for the first time last night and it was very happy.

Hey Chris--How long and strong of a Lugol's dip would you use for all around dippage???

For my lugols dips I simply fill a cereal bowl with tank water then to this I add 5+ drops of lugols... I then set the colony into this dip for about 5 minutes
I constantly am dipping mostly when I frag a colony NOT because they are unhealthy but because our hands are irratating to them.. They really seem to like the occational dips the next day they are brighter and stronger than ever

That was 2 months. IME--and it's limited--but once they get used to the tank--they start to grow like crazy.

Grisha, the 2nd set of pics were growth over 3 months (from feb '07 to May '07).

Mark, I don't know if it's a FR ufo, I got it from a guy in boston. I have a FR ufo also and it's very similar is also orange. though it doesn't grow as fast. I usually feed brine shrimp once or twice a week.
