Who's interested in a sleepy hollow micromussa??? I have a 5 polyp mini colony i'm going to get rid of as i'm getting out of the hobby for a bit.

Those are mostly acans and almost all are Aussie
That Aussie Issue has been tough... The divers and my Aussie guy keep sending me small acans and trying to tell me they are micros... They are not... They best ways to tell are per the Aims/welks/Vernon definitions

The best portion of that definition states "Colonies are cerioid with neat angular corallites up to 8 millimetres diameter" Most of the polyps that the divers are calling "Micro" are actually more like 10-12 mm so that is the first give away... Next is that the skeletal walls are shared or cerioid, not individule also Extended Micro polyps mostly are always round where as the acans are more hexagonal due to skeletal structure.... Lastly and VERY important I have found but a difficult tools for the short term identification is that the Aussie acans take FOREVER to grow (one frag from 2 years ago was 2 polpys... it is just now 3 polyps
) whereas the Micros always grow VERY quickly when fed... Beyond that it is just visual experience.. I do hope that this helped
