Been using 3 IM algae grazers for just over 5 months now. Love them. Keep the algae in place and make the fish kinda work for it. But recently have been noticing some issues with the reef. Had a few sps rtn which we all know can happen with no reason. Had most loose color and start acting weird. Algae problems left and right. Then this morning I discovered this in all three of my algae grazers. Neodymium magnets rusting like all hell. Took photos which I will add to this thread. To anyone using these please be very careful and check them frequently. I modified all three of mine to use suction cups now. Hopefully this might help any fellow reefers having weird issues that can't be pin pointed down. And if for some reason my info is off about rusty magnets in a reef tank please enlighten me.
