I'm back! launchnukes' custom 185g dd build

so after 3+ years of being out of the hobby I'm finally getting back in. I've had a number of tanks in the past and a few build threads including my 300dd but due to a move, career change, etc I took a break from the hobby. Now the kids are a little older, business is good, settled in the house....it's on!

Tank is being delivered on Monday. custom starphire tank measuring 60"l x 30"d x 27" t with custom stand and sump.

lighting will be a 60" 8 bulb ati sunpower. other components include vertex skimmer with neck cleaner, 2x vortech mp40s, apex, tunze osmolator, and other stuff on the way. I also have a reef octopus diablo 200 that I may give a try as well.

It was built by a guy in Melbourne , FL. Derek. Can't remember name of company right now. Lol.

What wiper do you have on the skimmer? Have you used one previously? Been thinking of getting a wiper when I get my new tank and skimmer.

I had an opportunity come up on a new home so the tank is at a bit of a stand still as I keep an eye on the status and decide whether to move forward with the home purchase.

in the mean time...I completed the rockwork.

haha. I can! they're welded together like no tomorrow...and heavy. It was sketchy putting them in there by myself. probably wasn't a good idea. lol. thanks dave
