I'm back!!!!!!

Hello everybody,

After a forced retirement from reefing, i've decided to bounce back and give it another shot. While working at my previous job my 60 gallon tank was given away by my boss after a misunderstanding. Now, I have a bigger 100 gallon acrylic and need to start from scratch. I need live sand and live rock primarily. Secondly I need supplies like pumps, a protein skimmer, etc. and lastly livestock.

Please let me know if you have anything for sale or free. Remember, this is for the kids at a preschool NOT for a personal tank at home. Also, donations are tax deductible.

I am at a new school in Redwood Shores(Redwood City) and still live in Pacifica. I'm going throught the cycling process now and look forward to my first additions in about a week or so.

Long story, but to sum it up i'd say politics. You just gotta kiss the right @ss sometimes. Apparently I wasn't. She gave it away over the summer while I was in Europe. Anyway, as you see it ended up with me minus one tank and a job in a new district. Luckily I was able to find a good deal on my used 100 gal. acrylic. I'm freakin' excited to see what I can do with it!

I got some fine argonate sand it been in bucket for about 2 weeks but its not live you can have Mark. Will you be attending the next meeting this week end

I have one bag of brand new Caribsea reef sand (sugar size) to give. I also have some hirock. Not live though. Please let me know if you need any of those.

Well if the tank was truely the schools tank, ie with all the donations and stuff being tax deductable, then they didn't give away YOUR tank

I might have some TBS live rock that I might be able to part with as I am rearranging my tank. Its not a lot by could be 2 - 3 pieces of live rock that are about 5 - 8 inches. Just something to start seeding your tank. I also live a few blocks from Terra Nova highschool.

I also have some cheato ready to be given away 1 or 2 small ziplock bags worth.

About half the stuff in the tank was donated and the other half came out of my pocket, along with the cost of the tank itself.

Much better now. I work with a great group of teachers now and have a cool boss.

That would be awesome! I can meet up with you or meet at the meeting. Either way i'd like to give the tank a few more days to cycle. I'll take one of the bags of chaeto as well.

Where in pacifica do you live, I could meet you somewhere to give you the cheato right away if needed. I need to trim the damm thing as my HOB FUGE aint big enough for it... has lots of POD and HUGE ampipods as well.

I live on the corner of Skyline and Manor Dr. I can meet up anytime in the evening or weekend.
