I'm bored and I have a new camera, not a good combination.

Since I'm just setting around not doing anything I though I would post some current tank pics. I just got a new camera today (which obviously I still don't know how to use) so please forgive the washed out look.

I like the last milli!

Thank you. That is one of my favorite corals as well. I bought it as a large frag from Greg Hiller a year or so ago. It was called a hairy blue acro I believe, I don't know the real name for it. It is actually my second favorite coral. The mint green cap is my favorite. I bought it as a small 1" square frag from David Playfair about two years ago.

It's pretty embarassing but here is the sump. It is pretty empty right now. I just took a bucket full of macro algae out earlier this week.

Other than what is there all I have is a top off container and a Nielsen reactor hooked up. I haven't been using my Ca reactor for the past six months. I had been fighting a losing battle with algae for quite some time so I just had the tank set up as simple as possible. I am finally starting to get everything back under control.

lol Reefgoss, how ya been?

trueblackpercula - It used to be much more complex. The problem was everytime I was out of town for a bike race my wife would call me because something was screwing up. It is much nicer to be able to go out of town and not have to worry about anything.

The tank looks awesome! I love the open growth.

As for the pics.....they're coming out too bright. Lower the Exp setting to -1.0 and give it a shot
