I finally got my dream tank about 1.5 years ago. Now that it is fully stocked with corals and fish and with no room left, I am bored. Been thinking about redoing the aquascape to spark my interest again but not sure which directions I should go. Here is the tank when set up and today. Any recommendations on new Aquascape idea greatly appreciated. Sorry the photos are bad. I suck at taking tank photos.

I go through the same thing a couple times a year. Short of selling all livestock & re-building I've found that re-aquascaping usually cures the itch. Also, once a year I remove the sump & clean all equipment. Makes it all seem brand new!

Thats pretty much what I have been doing selling stuff off to buy cooler stuff. It gets boring when its done.

I know but man it's hard they were mostly babies when I got them.

I've found that re-aquascaping usually cures the itch.

Any suggestions?

I love the setup. Beautiful tank.

I agree with that statement

Thank you!

Go full blown sps if you're bored. That ought to give you a high. What's that red thing on the bottom right.

Dragons Breath Macro Algae.

I am thinking I might pull everything out, give it it a good cleaning, take out the top inch of sand, reaquascape, sell a few things and put the rest back. I am just not sure about the aquascaping. Maybe go more low profile?

I like the horseshoe shape but I don't want anything within 4" of the front and back glass. With only 24" front to back that makes it hard. Nice tank by the way

Whenever I do it detach all of the corals & put the in a tub with a small power head, get a dollar shower liner to spread out on the floor the. Pull all the rock out & arrange it on floor to get the look I want then try to put it back the same way. I've also found that a six pack of beer makes it more fun!!!
