I guess I can photoshop this one to look purple....It's kinda a purplish brown center. The green's pretty close.

the rest aren't as photoshopped.

My favorite subject. The yellow isn't really apparent unless you look closely, and then it's really neat!

And again

This guy has tripled in size in the last 5 months or so

This one was really hard to catch, since he jumps up for a brief second, flares out his fins, and goes back into his hole. I shot about 80 of these, and this is the best I got.

He's kinda cute. He is in the phase where he's all yellow, and sometimes his head turns brown. Soon he will be brown all the time!

killafornia love the ray! How big is he?
How is he doing in your reef? I have one in mine and he ate 4 or so of my small fish including a small wrasse and a clown fish. Mine is about 10" diameter and eats a ton.

I really like that pipefish. I'm setting up a 30"x30" sps only tank and I may have to add one of those. I read they don't swim very well. Will it be ok with lots of flow in the tank?

I've never seen him struggle in current. Mostly he just drifts around. If he needs to move he can. Realize they are mostly pod eaters, so you should let the tank go for awhile before you put him in.

definatly wait on putting him in. when you get it running pm me and you can come raid my filter socks to get pods. i have hundreds every time i clean it out. it will get your pods going faster.

Thanks subabum1983. I have a very large fuge on my large tank so I will add a lot of pods and wait 6 months or more. I'm still in the planning stages of my cube so adding this fish (if I do it) will be quite a ways out.
