Nope, they are "supposedly" not real light demanders. Keep in mind these are 400 watt 20k lights so they look shaded anyway but 400 would be a little strong for this LPS....I think. It is all really exposed.

I think its just the difference in lighting, that accounts for it being brighter in the vendor's shot. It's still INSANELY red in the last pic.

yeah my dogs bought me two scroll corals, blonde naso tang, blue tang, midas blenny, and a flame angel. they forgot me last year so i mad them buy me extra. i just got them in today from Live Aquaria

my halides have burnt nearly all my brains. even goldenbasket on ebay reccomends that halides not be used or sticking them in a indirect light source.

my dog loves fish food. for some reason every time i get a new bag of flakes she eats all of them. i have bought 4 bags in the last month becuase every time i leave for work i forget to put it out of the way i come home and its in a thousand pieces and there are no flakes to be found. must be the seaweed she likes.

That tank *ROCKS*. I can think of no other way to say it.
Why can't my efforts be rewarded with something that beautiful? I still struggle with high nitrates, phosphate, and constant algae and cyano.
Someday, I pray it will come together..
