thanks Frank. To be honest I was just about to reply saying, "Yeah I've found that but it only shows me the ENGLISH sub-section in English". I don't know what's different about following your link but by following it the whole forum is now in English so I'm REGISTERED now!

I gotta admit that after getting my unit and seeing what's REALLY involved in programming these units I'm even MORE impressed with what you've done.
Once you get the hang of it, and figure out what you can do its not too bad really. I've had my Profilux going on 4+ years now and have evolved my configuration as new features are introduced.
I'm going to try putting up some programming guides over the next few weeks and see if that helps some people out.
I've even stumped myself recently and had to call Michael for some support so I can understand how daunting it can be.
Don't hesitate to ask anything though, sometimes a quick post can get you more ideas then you know what to do with!

thats one of the reasons why I upgraded from a Neptune controller to the Profilux because hopefully it's only slight upgrades from here on out as opposed to buying a new system to get some new features.
That would be AWESOME!!

I was asked today, "Do you like as much as you thought you would?"
My honest reply was, "I like it MORE!"
Even though I'm only controlling my lights right now (learning on non Life Support items) I absolutely LOVE this unit. My only regret is that I didn't sell my Neptune stuff and go ProfiLux sooner.
Once you go Profilux,,,,, you never go back!!

Well there was some $$$ exchanging hands too. I think it was still a very fair trade and I think at the end of the day we're both VERY happy with our new units. I wanted something that could ultimately do almost anything and he needed something simple to run his lights. We call that a Win-Win!!
Last time I checked there were some used units in the "For Sale" thread but for just a few $$$ more you can get a new PII+ and upgrade from there. Or even better you can get a PIIIex and start at the top
