I would never ercommend force feeding unless you are quite experienced with it.

Awesome to see this fish get more popular as availability ncreases for you goes on the other side of the Pacific pond. I've had my BL 3 years (I think). Super hardy, eats like a big, has been boss of the tank since the larger Emp died 18 months ago. One of my favourite fish for sure.

I am curiuos as to how everyone removes there fish from the acclimation bucket to the tank....

Did I read it right that you use your hands? Arent you afraid of the fish jumping?

I always use a specimen container dump as much water out that I can then drop the container in the tank to let the fish swim out...

Well some fish freak out when you pick them up but this blue line didnt care at all. Its not like i grab the fish like a basball . I gently place my hand under the fish and slowly lift him out and into the tank.

Yeah my luck he would flop on to the floor....

Great pickup and Great price. I know how u feel. I just pickup a 2.5'' and a 3.5'' blueline earlier in the week. Both mine are in QT and both are eating great. I'm feeding my romaine and mysis. I've been losing a lot of sleep this week due to staring at my new addition.

Good luck with this - there are a lot of these around now, and that's a decent size to work with (not too big or small). Mine starved to death in QT (which was heartbreaking to watch every day), but was somewhat larger, and more recently they've looked better collected than the one I got. So best of luck with getting this to work - once they're eating they look like pigs....

Most I've seen in one shop was eight......
