Im so happy

if you put him in the DT he will have a look and start eating on the rocks with the other fish

And if the fish has ich it will wipe out your entire tank......

I was at Macna and watched Kelly put the sailfin to sleep and feed it with a syringe. Very interesting technique and you can buy the ms222 she used to put the fish to sleep at Fosters and Smith....My only concern is if you do try to force feed the fish will it ever eat on its own????

I know what you mean lol daily routine of force feeding would suck. But she started to pick at live clams today! :)

As the video showed, it was also a great demonstration of how dangerous it is. She put the fish in harms way by dumping it on the ground, without doubt. And she is very "experienced". I feel it is a VERY BAD idea for inexperienced people to try to force feed fish. A lot of things can go wrong, in which case you have cut off your nose to spite your face.

She looks good just swims back and forth. She will look like shes about to eat some clam nip at it and swim away so still trying to get her to eat. No worries though

So heres what i had to go do :)

Congratulations on a great find! Bluelines are one of my favorite Angels and hopefully will get to keep one soon.

So today she felt it was the day she was gonna eat, and alot of it. Everything that looks edible now shes taste testing o and she ate two whole clams :). My question is how to get her on pellet now.

I would keep her eating what she likes for a good week before slowly weaning her to other food by cutting back on the current food and feeding pellets and flakes to see which one she will eat. It takes time and no need in rushing to switch as the most important thing is that she's eating. In due time she will eat everything as they are healthy BLs are like piggies. :)

Congrat and wish you continued success with your BL!
