I'm surprised how few stores are open at Opry Mills

I took the family to Nashville to see ICE and the Holiday Shrek show. We stopped by the mall to find only a handful of businesses are open. I was thinking someone in your club said more would open this spring. Does that sound right?

They are planning on opening the mall again and are working on it from what I've heard. Have to do a lot of work to fix stuff from the flood.

This spring it reopens with lots of stores. there was a big article early this month about it. SHame they didn't make it in time for the holidays, but even the retail community has gotten in on rebuilding. Remember Opry Mills was only allowed 50 million in insurance and had several hundred million in damage. Gaylord still put the money in even though it was a huge expenditure...so although not for this christmas, I do plan on supporting this mall as it truly is a needed shopping area!
