A friend of mine took a few pictures of that painted clam. I'll see if he can post them. That thing was crazy. One of my favorites was the ORA Squamosa clam that was a polka dotted yellow and blue. I wanted to buy it but they had it reserved for the raffle. Did anybody in Chicago get any of the ORA clams? $500 is insane but no worse than $470 for a frag of pink lemonade, I'd rather spend the money on the clam.

I will be posting pics either tonight or tomorrow. The painted clam was real nice, Dennis decided to keep it because so many people in the industry and friends wanted to buy it (including me). He just didnt want to upset anyone which is understandable. The pics really don't do the clam justice, I've never seen anything glow like it.

The clam was sweet as hell, but $500 with no frag potential is hard to swallow.

I have a great picture of the painted clam. I liked it so much it put as my wall paper on my computer at work. I need to resize to post it, but can only do that from home.

I was clam winner 13 of 14 if I remember correctly. I got a small squamosa clam. I will try to take a picture of it to post but I don't think it was the one you were talking about. I also was coral winner number 26 of 30 so I got last picking in there as well. What I really wanted was the tank raised Pajama Cardinalfish as they are very hard to find in stores and when speaking to the ORA guys they said they are very slow on production of them right now. My wife and kids love the PJ fish and I really want to/like to buy the tank raised fish when I can.
