Long story short my vertex omega 180i was making a lot of bubbles, has not produced any foam/skimmate. I am suspecting problems with pump and/or impeller.
I put on my 100g fowlr my very old Euro Reef RS180 skimmer who so far does better job than my Vertex. Problem is that impeller is starting to crack and Euro Reef/Reef Dynamics is out of business.
Where do I find a replacement impeller? Heard about impellers from Sedra 5000 pump being the same for gen-x 4100. Can anybody confirm that?
I know I know somebody can say why to spend money on old skimmer instead of buying new pump for Vertex.... price of course and if my ER is doing good job why not, I will use Vertex in the future for a different project... maybe.
Anyway any tips appreciated.
