Had this guy since Christmas. When I got him he was a little larger than a quarter, now he seems about 4" and has started his color change, but his color is still vibrant.
My ST has been in cupramine for about a week due to a suspected ich outbreak, there has been a minor cycle since I started the cupramine, but things have started settling down with water changes.
Anyhow, all fish seem to be happy, except for the Imperator which has stopped eating everything except Formula One dry flakes, which he eats greedily. This fish has always been a super eater, a big pig. He also seems to have gotten really surley with his tankmates (a percula, a heniocus, a YLN butterfly, a royal gramma, and a crab goby) all of which he had previously dominated, but was nevertheless pretty much content to live and let live.
I feed Formula two, Angel formula, frozen mysis, as well as frozen shrimps, squid, muscles, clams, and on occasion various live shrimps and fresh algae crabs urchins etc. which I catch and chop up or leave intact depending. None of which the Imperator has ever refused (save the algae) till now.
He seems healthy enough, and never manifested ich symptoms, and I'm thinking maybe his senses are a little dulled by the cupramine. Anybody run across this type of behavior before?
