Impulse anem buy..need advice

I would like to offer you a bit of encouragement. Your pc bulbs can be fine if you have enough of them and change them regularly. You may need to add bulbs or mix with higher output bulbs to keep him completely happy but pc bulbs can work if you have a hood full of them.
Hard to tell from a few photos, but I see mixed signs of health in this animal. These have a wide range of color, bleached is a lack of color (transparency) it appears to at least have some color left. I had one that I sold a couple of years ago that was an odd white/blue/green. So if the color is the presence of white, not transparency it could be natural or a partial loss of color. The animal i spoke of has been alive for close to decade in tanks and for the three years or so I kept it, it was under a lot of pc light mixed with with vho.
Shipping is tough on large carpets so if this does not sound too obvious, every day he lasts without spitting guts the better your odds of recovery / acclimation. I really like large anemones and have been keeping them for many years. If you can figure out how to keep this guy healthy you will have fun with it.
Look for tips and encouragement and do your best with him and ignore the noise. If he doesnt make it your observations and the experience will make it easier if you try again with another one. These animals are always a risk, your LFS just brought one to you to take a shot at. He is rolling the dice when he orders one of these just like you are when you buy one.
