Impulse buy on anemone, ID please.

Well I ended up getting frustrated and making an impulse buy. Im not even sure this anemone (below) will host my type of clown, but I got sick of waiting since mid October and neither of my 2 lfs can get in a S. Haddoni (or another saddle back to pair my current one with). I am unsure of buying from online, and even if I find one at live aquaria ( for example at 39.99 or something) the shipping makes it too expensive. Can anyone tell me what kind of anemone this is? Looks like a BTA to me, but just wanted some confirmation. Thanks!

Thanks. Do you know if this will host my type of clown? Other threads I looked at and posted said mainly the carpet anemone. Even if it doesnt, still nice looking.

Sometimes clowns will go in bta and sometimes they won't.

Clown seems interested. Problem is the anemone went into the heart of my rockwork. I can see the base and some tentacles. Looks good so far but in almost complete dsrkness which is weird.

Looks like a BTA for sure. BTAs will anchor their foot into a crevice of rocks and retract into it when stressed. Since it is new and acclimating to your tank it may take a few days for it to start coming out assuming your water parameters are all suitable for the anemone. New light intensity would be my guess as to why it is retracted into the rocks right now.
