In need of a 20+gal plastic water tank for a WC system

I've worked up a plan to simplify my waterchanges, but I need to find the jug.

My plan is to build an 8 or so inch riser to place on a dolly. The tank will go on top. I'll either put a valve on the bottom or a valve/pump system to do the lifting for me. The base and tank will be secured to the dolly so it can be carted from the shower to the tanks

Something like this wonderful piece of art:

I need something in the 25-30 gal range, more or less, sturdy enough to drill and support the bulkhead with a base that will fit on a dolly with an extended base. I also open to design suggestions. I like the idea of a dolly because it's maneuverable and doesnt take a ton of effort to haul around. A cart will be too cumbersome to drag around the corners.

How about one of those 30ish gallon tuff trashcans with the wheel dollie that it connects to. That is what I am doing except I'm using the 42 gallon can.

Is that the trashcan that sets in the circle base with 4 wheels? If so, I want something that rolls across carpet/tile transitions a little better and something that has more room between the base of the container and the wheels so I can rig some sort of drain set up. I think my wife will have trouble rolling something like that from tile to carpet to tile to carpet. I know I wouldn't want to do it. They become top heavy with a lot of weight.

This is what I want, but would prefer a local source before paying almost $50 for shipping. I want to get the 40g tank (18x43"). Does anyone know if there's a place in the metro that sells tanks about that size? HD and Lowes don't have anything.

I've seen them on a hit and miss basis at Tractor Supply. I checked their web site and didn't see anything available but if you have one close by I would check it out.

I don't think I do...I guess it'll be an online buy and just get it done with. I'm sick of hauling buckets and don't need my wife to do it when i hit the road. Thanks for the input!

I looked at my local Tractor Supply this morning for a similar setup and they only had the more horizontal type tanks. Like for sprayers and such. Wouldn't work for you. Lowes does have a 32 gallon trash can that has two wheels in the back. I almost got one, but it just seemed a little too flimsy for 200 pounds of water. I bought two 5 gallon water jugs for a cooler, two 5 gallon buckets, and a 32 gallon heavy trash can. I should be able to make or move water anywhere.

I thought about going with the trash cans, but I didn't like the idea of the water weight in the flexible container. I also didn't like the thought of tipping the trashcan back with all of that water and that big opening in the top. I ordered a 40 gallon, 18x40" container from plastic-mart. It has a 5" opening on the top, a threaded female fitting in the bottom and graduated gallon marks on the front. It's not cheap, but it will do what I need it to do and will be easier to roll around on the dolly.

My plan is to keep some clean water in the jugs for top off and easy mixing in buckets. The trash can will only be used the night before a water change. Set it up right next to the tank so I can use my small electric pump to push it up into the tank.
