hey everybody,
i have a small tank, 29 gallon, mostly with soft corals in it, but i wanted to dedicate a corner of the tank to growing algae. what kind is a slow growing algae, something that wont take over my entire tank, but a good refuge for lots of little bugs to grow....?
any help would be appreciated,
Z.

I would get some Chaetomorpha for sure. It doesn't attach to the rocks so its easy to remove. Most nano tanks that I see have a small ball of it somewhere in the tank.

i agree with triterium, thats probably your best bet on a non-invasive species of macro. it grows into a ball and gives your pods a place to breed safely.
