I had a Kole Tang which got stressed (Don't know why) he got Ich and died, managed to get the Multicolor out and he is in the QT Hospital for one month now, he is doing great, the seven chromis and Clarkiis are still in the DT and doing great, I had no problem with them getting white spots, so, intention is to wait at least one more month so the parasite can starve and hopefully clear, with this, I can bring the Multicolor back.

This is going to be a very popular thread...Amaazing job, very well thought out and executed to perfection!

Also, I had a Reef Gold Dart as a Return pump, it failed and don't really know why, bought it used so I think this is where the problem began, I changed it for the Water Blaster HY-16000, this thing is a beast, my friend Jim (Gimmito) recommended it and no complains so far, I am feeding the Fuge, Skimmer and Dt also building a manifold to feed three reactors and no problem whatsoever, here some pics of the new pump in place:

WOW, nicely done, would love to have a fish room of my own, wife would like it outside like yours, but too much heat in florida.

wow, this is my kind of thread! all of the progress all at once and no waiting :lmao: ... very excited to see hwo things turn out, the tank and setup/fishroom is fantastic! very well prepared and executed.

That's one heck of an update Juan !

LMK how your drains are working out. I'm going to be working on my manifold also, that pump is a beast !

p.s.

You are the only guy I know who had his tank dropped in by crane. :D

Thanks Jim!

I have only one problem with the drains, I should install a Gate Valve instead of a ball valve, the first one is much more precise so I can really make small increments on the return and drain durso for better adjusting.

LOL about the crane, it was a hassle but fun to watch, I almost ran out of battery while taking the video, but luckily it lasted till the end.

Thanks for the info on the pump resonance and noise, mine will complete week 2 this Upcoming Saturday and I think the sound is beginning to lower.

How are your drains holding with the pump?

Thanks Doe5ia14,
Basically plan to stock it with SPS in the coral area, with fish, well, still haven't quite decided, there isn't too much variety coming into my country so not much to choose from, maybe small fish so I can place more population of them, for example anthias or similar.

The Right section of the rockscape is intended of LPS or sofities, (Mostly softies) Zoas, mushrooms.

As for now, I'm still waiting for some sign of Coraline Algae to give me the heads up and introduce a couple of SPS frags, I have seen one little tiny bitty spot of it but not enough to take the plunge, still balancing my Ca, Alk and Mg so I can fire up the calcium reactor and Mg Doser :)

The heavy duty schedule 80 ballvalves seem to be fine dialing in what I need. Although, I have the left overflows draining much faster than the right side for some reason. I have to play around with it.

Wished I had SCH 80 around, much nicer for the viewing pleasure and eternally durable :).

Hope you solve the draining issue quickly.

Awesome bulid!!

Thank you very much :)
