In Wall 400g DT (600g+ System)

Thank Nup, :)

Re tested my water today,

Calcium 445 ppm
Alk 9 dKh

I will bump my CA a little more and leave those params on balance.

Will begin plumbing my QT as I received my sump today, next step is my Frag tank installment.

Ok guys, here are some pictures of the new additions as well as some sort of FTS:

Beautiful clam. Looks like it's already got a watchman :D
What color is the clam? Was the pic taken under the actinics?
Looks very healthy one.

And the FTS looking cool and that "M" shaped arch reads "masterpiece" :)
Gosh waiting eagerly to see your frag tank setup.
Good luck Juan.

Parameters are getting spot on!! Sweeeet :D

Nup, thank you very much for the incredible comments :D
I'm happy about the params too, I think they ought to stay there from now on, so will pump the CA Reactor a little so balance can be at the same level. With the new additions I bet the consumption rate just went higher.

MtlReefFreak, thank you very much :)

My Eel was taken care by my LFS, but I think he was not too happy in there and had more than three weeks which he was not eating.
Today I brought him back to his home which is my fuge.

Here is a quick video when it was acclimating in the Acclimate device.

ADVICE TO ANY USERS USING THE ACCLIMATE WITH EELS... DO NOT USE IT LMAO!!
I left Nigel within here for acclimating, I left the fishroom to upload the video and post it here and suddenly the housekeeper began yelling that Nigel moved the top and climbed out, he was lying besides the fuge basically dying.
Well, as she really cares for Nigel (Housekeeper), she quickly took a bag, placed it as a glove, grabbed him and into the Fuge! no damage to him LOL.

Also, took out a raw shrimp, used Kent Garlic Guard to entice him to eat, he came out quickly and with one bite, bye bye shrimp, finally he ate with me today.

Hmm just thought of a name NigEEL the eel :D
Nice looking fish that one. But wont it hunt the smaller fishes and shrimps if ya keep in ya reef? Or ya planning on adding only big guys in your tank? :)
Glad it's feeding well and maybe "shrimps in garlic sause" maybe his favourite dish :D hmm must be an oriental eel
I once saw a leopard eel ruling alone in a big in wall tank, it was just a gorgeous sight. One day I wanna replicate something like that. But first I need a WALL that big :D

Congrats on getting parameters to the optimum. You have dextrous hands, coz its not easy task and these parameters can go hay wire when u try to adjust them. You are skilled at this :)
Waiting eagerly to see ya start stocking your tank, hope I'm not hurrying you :D

Thanks Jim :)

Thanks Nup, actually Nigel (BTW, didn't saw the NigEEL similarity before, lol, thanks for pointing that out), leaves in the Fuge alone, he is the only inhabitant in there. My fuge is 100gallons and just for him, he is king of the castle :D

Thanks for the params, please, rush me more lol :)

Took a video today of Nigel in Action!

Nup, sorry, just saw your couple of questions regarding the clam.

The clam is blue all around with some different tones of the same color on the mantle, also, its under the leds. :)

That's cool Juan
Clams are a good addition to a reef they are bit beneficial in nitrate control too. And your clam looks healthy with the mantles already poppin out. :)
NigEEL looks very cool on that video and it's heartwarming to see ya nurse him back to tip top health. His cave looks awesome. His natural habitat perfectly recreated. You can dip the shrimp in Selcon or Boyd vitachem both vitamin enriched mediums and feed him. It will help him build his health super quick.
Lol yes i wouldn't mind hurrying yu more coz your setup is very nice and we are all so eager to see it stocked ASAP :)
But jokes apart take it slow and patience is the key.
Very easy for me to preach but difficult to follow :D

Happy Reefing!!

Thanks Pablo, you're right, I too think it's an Acro, also, somebody told me it could be a Millie?, crossing my fingers it will color up soon :)

I bought today all tubing and PVC parts for the QT and FT, the FT is still under construction, hopefully tomorrow I will buy the glass for it and a local builder will assemble it.

The QT I have everything in the list ready for just plumbing and firing it on, I hope this happens next week.

These parts are:
UV Sterilizer
Heater
Skimmer
Return Pump

Just need the light which I will buy some 48" LED tubes at the hardware store.

Thanks for stopping by.
