Looks great. Is the back wall a shadow box or am I seeing things? I'd love to have a shadow box but for maintenance reasons, think I'll go with a rock back wall using black pond foam

Honestly? I don't even know what a shadow box is....
My background is just blue foil which is put outside the tank directly on the glass. Very easy to clean (I just use a magnet when I'm in my aqua room).
I'm just wondering whether I want to change it to black foil or not.

Wow what incredible builds. I am buying a house soon and tank placement has certainly come up between my wife and I. We have looked at several houses with in wall tanks in mind and its funny how this hobby can take over your life.
